Vintage Frame Turned Chalkboard

We finished another chalkboard! This one is my favorite (but I'm always partial to pink)

So adorable! It's always nice to see what a little bit of paint can do to spice up an old piece. I can just see this in a little girl's room.

Vintage Deer Antler with Chevron Fabric

Newest set of antlers are done on a white washed plaque with orange chevron fabric and finished off with cream colored upholstery rope. The antlers may not be large but they really pop. I think this is my favorite set so far. They're available on our shop here: Orange Chevron Antlers

On an exciting side note we did our first custom order for a set of antlers! Someone contacted us saying he loved the blue and faux burlap set we did that I posted about here and he had a little four point that he had been wanting to do something with. He sent us his set and we cleaned it up, cut out a plaque, painted it, mounted it, and added the fabric. Here's the finished result:

More Antlers!

A cute 4 point on an aqua scuffed plaque covered with some tan tweed and accented with brown upholstery cord. They are officially listed on our shop: Listed Here

Unfortunately, the photos turned out a little dark. It's so hard to find good lighting in the winter months. I love the texture of the fabric. We finally lucked into some more antlers so we have some more in the works.

Chalkboards!

My mom and I have been collecting frames forever meaning to make them into chalkboards and we're finally getting some done.

Here are the first two we have completely done.

So cute right!? The green was hard to get good pictures of because the room was really bright. It's a celery color. They're even cuter in person than the pictures. We have more almost all done-we just need to get the boards cut out for the chalkboard part. I just want to keep them all for myself.

Vintage Deer Antler Makeover

It all started 2 years ago when I picked up a set of deer antlers while out hunting. My mom and I thought at that time it would be so cute to mount them on cool plaques and cover them with fabric.
