Antler Craze

We've been selling antlers faster than we can put them out and WE LOVE IT.  I never thought that almost 3 years ago when we first thought of putting our own spin on the classic set of antlers and listed them on etsy that we would be this far.  I mean seriously we sold six pairs in one day!  I'm just glad that people appreciate antlers as much as we do!  Since it's been awhile since I made a post, here are some pictures of all of the ones we've done since  the last post.

New Antler Sets

Been lucking into some antlers lately so we've been busy getting some ready for the fall/winter season.
Here are our three newest sets.

Set one is done on a gray plaque and covered with a flannel/wool like plaid and trimmed with black rope. This will be listed on our shop as soon as we find a box that this large 9 point will fit in.

Set two is a large 8 point on a dark walnut plaque covered with a canvas like brown, tan, and black plaid and trimmed with a chocolate brown rope - will also be listed on our shop when we find a proper box for shipping.

Set 3 is an 8 point mounted on a cherry tree wood slab and covered with a faux black leather; it's trimmed with a silver chain that has a black suede strip intertwined into the chain links.  This set is listed on our shop - https://www.etsy.com/listing/156432171/vintage-deer-antlers-8-point-mounted

Vintage Frame Turned Chalkboard

We finished another chalkboard! This one is my favorite (but I'm always partial to pink)

So adorable! It's always nice to see what a little bit of paint can do to spice up an old piece.  I can just see this in a little girl's room.

Bunting

Like I said....a bunting spree. We made 4 today.

 1. Rustic fun theme - Burnt orange chevron and linen Listed here

2. Summer theme - white and yellow.  The yellow is from a vintage tablecloth. Listed here

3. Nautical theme - blue and white, linen, and a printed anchor Listed here

4. Mustache modern theme - classic black and white with a twist of chevron fun.  The mustaches are printed with fabric paint. Listed here

I just can't decide which one is my favorite.  Will probably put some  f these on our shop, I'll link to them if we do.  If you like our work or would like some custom bunting, just comment or send us a message on our shop!

Printed mustache Bunting

My mom and I have officially gone on a bunting spree!
It started off with a custom order for another mustache bunting.  I had done one with sewn on fabric mustaches (very time consuming) so this time I opted for fabric paint mustaches.  So. Much. Easier.

If you haven't seen the wonderful trick of freezer paper you're missing out.  Basically you trace your design on the freezer paper (on the dull side) then you take a razor blade and cut the shape out, iron the stencil onto your fabric, sponge on the paint, peel off the paper and let it dry.

More Antlers!

A cute 4 point on an aqua scuffed plaque covered with some tan tweed and accented with brown upholstery cord. They are officially listed on our shop: Listed Here

Unfortunately, the photos turned out a little dark. It's so hard to find good lighting in the winter months. I love the texture of the fabric. We finally lucked into some more antlers so we have some more in the works.

Chalkboards!

My mom and I have been collecting frames forever meaning to make them into chalkboards and we're finally getting some done.

Here are the first two we have completely done.

So cute right!? The green was hard to get good pictures of because the room was really bright. It's a celery color. They're even cuter in person than the pictures. We have more almost all done-we just need  to get the boards cut out for the chalkboard part. I just want to keep them all for myself.

Update: The blue chalkboard has been listed on our Etsy store for sale. Find it here
